How we made a serious subject easy to digest
Substance abuse is a complex problem. And alcohol abuse is an especially big problem in North Dakota, which has been tagged by media as the beer belly of the nation. NDDHS needed an educational tool to raise awareness about the issue, and to make the case for substance abuse prevention as a solution. The goal was to get attention and gain support to make positive things happen.
Our challenge was to tackle this sensitive and complicated issue and work with our client to create a video with compelling content that was engaging, instructive and easy to understand. We used conversational language, lively design, bright colors, sound design and well-executed motion graphics and transitions to make the narrative come alive and keep it flowing.
